  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 cup water (adjust as needed)
  • 1 cup lard
  • Cubed steak (or venison)
  • Cubed potatoes
  • Cubed carrots
  • Cubed rutabaga
  • Chopped onion
  • Bacon strips
  • Your desired Jinx'em Harvest Blends seasoning
  • Recommended seasoning Bounty Hunter

Instructions:

  1. Start with the basic pasty dough. Mix 3 cups of flour, 1 tablespoon of salt, and 1 cup of lard until it looks like crumbs.

  2. Add 1 cup of water (adjust as needed) and form a dough. Split it into 4 pieces and chill for 30 minutes.

  3. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  4. Get your fillings ready. Cube some steak, potatoes, carrots, rutabaga, and onion.

  5. Roll out a dough piece. On one side, place cubes of steak, followed by cubed potatoes, carrots, rutabaga, onions.

  6. Season your filling with your desired Jinx'em Harvest Blends seasoning for extra flavor. Shop Here.

  7. Top the seasoned filling with bacon strips to keep everything juicy and tasty.

  8. Use a fork to seal the edges of the pasty, ensuring it's closed tightly before making a small slit on the top for ventilation.

  9. After folding, slit the top of the pasty to create ventilation for baking.

  10. Repeat the process for the remaining dough pieces and customize the cubed fillings as you like.

  11. Bake them in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about an hour, until they're golden brown and the cubed filling is cooked.

  12. Let them cool a bit, and your delicious cubed pasties with ventilation are ready to enjoy.
