Iron Seared Burger Combo

Burger Ingredients:

  • Ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Pitmasters Smokeshow - Smoky & Sweet BBQ Rub
  • Hamburger buns
  • Cheese slices (optional)
  • Fresh lettuce, tomato, red onion, and pickles for toppings
  • Condiments of your choice (mayo, ketchup, mustard)

Burger Sauce Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Dash of Up In Smoke

Air-Fried French Fries:

  • Bagged frozen French fries

Instructions:

Burger Preparation:

  1. Form Patties:

    • Shape the ground beef into patties without overhandling the meat.
  2. Create a Well:

    • Using your thumb, make a shallow well in the center of each patty.
  3. Season with Pitmasters Smokeshow:

    • Season both sides of each patty with Pitmasters Smokeshow - Smoky & Sweet BBQ Rub, ensuring an even coating.
  4. Season with Salt and Pepper:

  5. Preheat the Grill or Cast Iron Pan:

  10. Rest the Patties:

    • Allow the cooked patties to rest for a couple of minutes.
  11. Assemble the Burgers:

    • Toast the hamburger buns lightly.

  3. Cook According to Package Instructions:

    • Cook the fries in the air fryer according to the recommended time and temperature on the package. Be sure to shake or toss them halfway through for even cooking.
