Wildfire Deviled Eggs


  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (preferably Dijon)
  • 1 teaspoon Wildfire Sweet, Bold, & Spicy Rub
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Optional garnish: paprika, chopped chives, or diced jalapeños


  1. Boil the Eggs:

    • Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with water.
    • Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
    • Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the eggs simmer for about 10 minutes.
    • After 10 minutes, remove the saucepan from the heat and transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool completely.
  2. Prepare the Filling:

    • Once the eggs are cooled, carefully peel them and slice each egg in half lengthwise.
    • Gently remove the yolks and place them in a separate bowl.
    • Mash the yolks with a fork until they are smooth.
  3. Season the Filling:

    • To the mashed yolks, add mayonnaise, mustard, Wildfire Sweet, Bold, & Spicy Rub, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
    • Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and the filling is creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste if necessary.
  4. Fill the Egg Whites:

    • Using a spoon or a piping bag, fill each egg white half with the seasoned yolk mixture, dividing it evenly among the eggs.
  5. Garnish and Serve:

    • Optionally, sprinkle a pinch of paprika, chopped chives, or diced jalapeños on top of each filled egg for garnish and extra flavor.
    • Arrange the deviled eggs on a serving platter and refrigerate until ready to serve.
