Ultimate Wing Feast: Four Flavors, One Grill

Today, we're creating an unforgettable wing feast by grilling two different seasoned wings and finishing half of each batch with a delicious sauce. This will give us four distinct flavors to enjoy. Hunter's Reserve Grilling Rub Wings with Lemon Garlic Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds of chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons of Hunter's Reserve Grilling Rub

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Wings:

    • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
    • In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil until well coated.
    • Sprinkle the Hunter's Reserve Grilling Rub over the wings, ensuring an even coating.
  2. Grill the Wings:

    • Place the wings on the grill and cook for 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until the wings are crispy and fully cooked.
    • Remove the wings from the grill and set aside.

Lemon Garlic Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Sauce:

    • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
    • Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  2. Add Lemon and Broth:

    • Stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and chicken broth.
    • Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 3-4 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  3. Sweeten and Season:

    • Add the honey, salt, and black pepper.
    • Continue to simmer for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce slightly thickens.

    • Remove the sauce from heat and let it cool slightly.
    • Toss half of the grilled wings in the lemon garlic sauce until well coated, or brush the sauce onto the wings as a finishing touch.
    • Place the sauced wings back on the grill for an additional 2-3 minutes per side to caramelize the sauce slightly.
  5. Serve:

    • Remove all wings from the grill and place them on a serving platter.
    • Drizzle any remaining lemon garlic sauce over the sauced wings.
    • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.

    • Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
    • Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  2. Apply the Sauce:

    • Remove the sauce from heat and let it cool slightly.
    • Toss half of the grilled wings in the BBQ sauce until well coated, or brush the sauce onto the wings as a finishing touch.
    • Place the sauced wings back on the grill for an additional 2-3 minutes per side to caramelize the sauce slightly.
  3. Serve:

    • Remove all wings from the grill and place them on a serving platter.
    • Drizzle any remaining BBQ sauce over the sauced wings.
